Big Dawg shoot in Purgatory
« on: January 21, 2013, 02:26:07 PM »
Just finished competing at the Big DAWG shoot this past weekend, and although a humbling experience, I very much enjoyed shooting so many disciplines with a shotgun.  Was great to see so many shooters from around Utah, and actually more out of State teams than in state.  Purgatory gun club did a fantastic job, was very organized and ran the shoot flawlessly. I will definatly go back and shoot this one again, however.... I will have practiced sporting clays a lot more prior to attending.  I did realize that great sporting clay shooters shoot trap better than great trap shooters shoot sporting clays.  Two very different games, but sure had a wonderful time!!

A big thanks to all the volunteers, directors, and people that put the shoot together, and worked to provide so many people a great experience.
Thanks,
Chad Sorensen

Assumption: "OCG Mafia" is Ogden Gun Club's team. "Black Pigeons" is Sudbury & Associates?

Big Dawg Challenge - Who was the team members on each of the teams out of the Wasatch Area?
Ogden Black Mafia : Chad S., Jeremie S., Clint S., Mac D. ?????
SL (Balck Pigeons?): Joe S., Gus, Ed W., ?????
Maybe, just a guess - I don't know.
Or other team members from other areas? Great shooting. Bet the weather was better than the 19 degrees we have had here.
